in case you were wondering, the guestbook is no longer open for signing. the old signings will still be up, for history's sake; we've met quite a few people this way and i don't want to disable it entirely. on the whole, it's been fun, and a big thank you to all of you who made it so. recently, though, a preponderance of tiresome spam and recurring rudeness finally led us to believe it was no longer worth maintaining.

however, i do, heartily, try to be accessible. if you have something you'd like to say, feel free to email either one of us. but please, take a moment to consider: a little courtesy and maturity go a long way. flames won't change our mind; they just waste everybody's time-- do everyone a favor and go vent some other way. (you're not proving your point. you're making yourself look foolish.) and if you're frustrated about something, take a deep breath. we welcome thoughtful disagreement, well-considered contention; people just blowing mindless angry steam in our direction will be laughed at. (and if you're a spambot, GO THE HELL AWAY.) thank you.

all that being said, though, we both really love getting email, and try to respond to the letters we receive. so drop either one of us a line. we'd appreciate it.
